History and goals

The ANNECY MCEI Chapter is located in France, it was founded on the 7^th of February 2005 under the aegis of the GENEVA Chapter. The Annecy Chapter currently brings together members involved in the fields of marketing, communication and management spanning a wide range of expertise and experience such as state services and private companies of different sizes and sectors. The ANNECY Chapter goal is to be fully representative of the economic structure of our beautiful region (Haute-Savoie) and to enable its members to easily broaden their networks, regardless of age or professional position. The particularity of our region, strongly linked to Geneva, emphazises the necessity to work closely with the GENEVA MCEI chapter. Indeed, some members are present in the two local chapters.
  

Our vision is to build a strong and powerful network of professionals on both sides of the French-swiss border. A simple and easy-contact spirit among members is fully encouraged in that way.

Activities and meetings

Monthly meetings are held in Annecy usually on the 1st Tuesday of each month, except in July and August.  The cost of lunch is included in the annual fees but reservations are requested for better organization. In addition to luncheon meetings, we usually visit new members’ companies to facilitate better understanding of differents jobs or sectors. Relationships between members are enhanced during monthly meetings by encouraging new contacts and ideas while attending conferences of professionnal interest.

Governance

Subject to the French Association regulation rules, the MCEI Annecy Chapter is registered under a “Loi 1901” status. The 2006 executive commitee is composed of :

Membership

The membership is individual. Candidates applying for membership must be sponsored by at least one current member. Candidates are asked to fill an application form. Each application has to be agreed by the board.
